Colors and moods: how they relate to each other?

Human beings are known to have different moods in different situations, how they react in situations often defines them but how colors play their part? There have been a number of studies over this topic all around the world in order to find the true relationship of these two things. Among different studies conducted all around the world, converge into the statement that colors do affect the mood of an individual not only that colors also affect the blood pressure, colors that are warm like yellow, red can raise the blood pressure and colors that are considered to be cool like green, blue make a relaxing environment, which eventually helps individuals to be productive and perform at the best of their abilities.

Unfortunately, still the interior designers and other people, who actually deal in deciding the color tone of environments, lack in knowledge related to colors, the right use of coloring paint pigments can add value to a place, and a color paint pigments supplier should also know the affects of colors to come up with new range of shades.

Colors can play an integral role in motivation, relaxation especially in an office environment, assume an office having dark colors all over, now that will not reflect the relaxing environment and will further add in stress. According to a study on stress, around 75 percent of diseases are due to stress, so employers are ought to understand the fact that colors strongly affect the mood , motivation and stress, they should also invest their time to make their environment “stress free” .
